Tekfen İnşaat Undertook the Construction of Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes Administration Building
Within the scope of the USD 94 million contract, Tekfen İnşaat undertook to complete the reinforced concrete, steel and façade constructions of the 169 metre building
It was stated that Tekfen İnşaat, one of the pioneer companies in Turkey in foreign contracts with many successful projects in their résumé, have undertaken the construction works of a new building in Azerbaijan. According to the related statement, Tekfen İnşaat have undertaken the construction of the new Administrative Building for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes for USD 94 million with reinforced concrete, steel and façade works in its scope. The project which will take its place in the prominent signature projects of Baku when it is complete will be 169 metres tall and a total of 33 storeys. The project with a special architecture and a total of 44,200 square meters of enclosed space and 30,000 m² siding shall include administrative offices, conference halls, underground parking garage, hanging gardens and an additional Auditorium Building as well as recreation areas. Tekfen İnşaat, who were awarded the “Year’s Best International Office Building” award in ENR Global Best Projects with the SOCAR Tower, Azerbaijan’s highest and most cutting edge building, also were awarded in “Best Stadium Project” with the Baku Olympic Stadium in 2015 strengthening their proven track record TEBA:1760/ April 4, 2016.
