2nd Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Fair

2nd Roads, Tunnels 2017 (Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Fair), where the technology and equipment used in the construction of bridges, tunnels and highways will be exhibited, will be organized between May 24- 26, 2017 at Congresium, Ankara

Second Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Fair will be organized between May 24-26, 2017, at International Congress and Exhibition Center of Ankara Chamber of Commerce (Congresium, Ankara), where the technology and equipment used in the construction of bridges, tunnels and highways are introduced, with the technical assistance of Directorate General of Highways, under the hospitality of Turkish Road Association and auspices of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.

Aiming to bring  together numerous infrastructure companies and contractors involved in ongoing mega projects amounting to TL 40 billion, the 2^nd Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Fair will be held with the heading “mega projects are calling for their heros” this year.

The expected numbers of participants to this year’s event which is organized by MCI Exhibition, a company based in Switzerland, will furnish everyone and every company involved in this sector with the chance of seeing and looking into the edge-cutting technologies needed by the sector are 28 public institutions and 170 companies. 20 of the exhibitors in the fair will be contracting companies.

The first domestic tunnel opening machine will be exhibited during the fair

The first domestic tunnel opening machine which was manufactured by a Turkish company named E-Berk will be introduced during the 2^nd Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Fair, for the first time.

In addition, the fire detection system which passes through the top of the tunnels, detects even the smallest spark and activates itself, new generation fire extinguisher system’s water mist, defroster preventing/melting icing will be introduced with Time Lapse which is a recording technique with time warp function.
