South Korea centeres construction company SK E&C Director General Jason Jaehyun Ahn has commented on the investment environment of Turkey. Jason Jaehyun Ahn said, "Turkey continues with infrastructure breakthroughs since mid-2000s. Geopolitical situation, investment incentives, demographic composition and facilitating policies still attract many foreign investors. Turkey market is an investable one and we are ready you invest more money. Very soon, you will see our company in Turkey energy market”. Ahn, noting they do not distribute SK E&C's international investment budget on country basis, said, "There are projects of priority in distributing the budget. That depends the feasibility of the projects involved. We think, Turkey has many profitable and feasible projects". "In a very near future, you will see our company in Turkey energy market. We are particularly interested in natural gas fired power plants” Noting they plan to take place actively in the field of renewable energy in Turkey and seek investment opportunities on the turst on potential of Turkey economy, for this reason in a near future their company will be seen in Turkey energy market, Ahn went on to say, "We are familiar with Turk energy market, we earlier participated in construction process of Tufanbeyli Thermal Power Plant. We seek investment opportunities in belief of Turkey economy’s potential. For this very reason, you will see our company in Turkey energy market. In short, we want to take place in projects to make Turkey and energy trade center and to be a permanent player of Turk energy market". As is known, South Korea centered SK E&C, together with Yapı Merkezi-Limak-Daelim has signed Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Çanakkale-Savaştepe Motorway Project contract on TL 10 billion 154 million investment cost on March 16, 2017 TEBA:1807/ March 16, 2017.
