STEAM, 18. International Energy Conference
18. International Energy Conference will be held on October 4, 2017 at İstanbul Sait Halim Paşa Palace on "Changing Energy Geopolicy, Unchanged Pipeline Routes“ Oil and Natural Gas Play – Current Status of Turkey Europe Axis.”
18. International Energy Conference organized by Strategic Technical Economic Research Center (STEAM) will be held on October 4, 2017 at İstanbul Sait Halim Paşa Palace on "Changing Energy Geopolicy, Unchanged Pipeline Routes“ Oil and Natural Gas Play – Current Status of Turkey Europe Axis”. In the Conference, most important specialists of regional countries, national and international senior experts, sector representatives and senior staff of companies will come together to study the solution proposals within the context of energy diplomacy on pipelines to connect energy sources of Middle East, Caspian Basin and Eastern Mediterranean with the consumers. The titles of panels to be conducted on October 4, 2017 are, 'Potential Reflections of Developments Experienced in the Middle East on Turkey and Global Markets, Turkey’s Test with Natural Gas – Liberalization in Gas Market and Efforts to be Transformed into a Trade Center, Pipeline Rivalry and Energy Bridge Turkey'. Participants of the Conference BOTAŞ Director General Burhan Özcan, Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) Board Member Fazıl Şenel, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Turkey Country Deputy Director Şule Kılıç, Retired Ambassador to Qatar and OECD Mithat Rende, Retired Ambassador / USA. Matthew Bryza, SOCAR Consultant İbrahim Palaz, Zorlu Energy Director General Fuat Celebci, DAMNUS Executive Board Chairman Nusret Cömert expected to participate as speaker in the panels. In the meantime, representatives from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Lebanon and İsrael will participate in the panels.
