In September, Annual Inflation has been 11.20%
Annual increase in CPI has been 11.20%, in domestic producer prices 16.28%
Turkey Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released September Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Producer Price Index (PPI) data. In September, CPI increased 0.65%, compared to December last year 7.29%, compared to same month of previous year 11.20% and on twelve month average basis 9.98%. Monthly highest increase has been in education group with 2.08% As of main expenditure groups, increase has been seen in September 2017 in transportation as 1.58%, in various goods and services 1.34%, in restaurants and hotels as 1.02%, clothing and foot ware as 0.80%. In CPI, 0.23% decrease seen in food and non-alcoholic beverages compared to the same month of previous year. Highest annual increase in CPI has been in transportation group with 16.10%. Other main expenditure groups with highest increase are various goods and services as 12.06%, health as 11.90% and entertainment and culture as 11.85%. Monthly highest increase in PPI is seen in crude oil and natural gas Domestic producer price index (DO-PPI) increased 0.24% in September 2017 compared to previous month, 9.78% compared to last December, 16.28% compared to the same month of previous year and 13.26% on the basis of twelve month average.
