Amendment to Public Electricity Purchase Tenders

In Public electricity purchases, weighted average exchange price; unit renewable energy sources supporting mechanism cost will be calculated on the basis of administration connection voltage level, subscribers group, tariff class, single-multi time situation distribution cost and tax and funds VAT excluded, and announced by EMRA.

Amendments to price difference within the coverage of Public Tender Contracts and related to Changing the Rules of Price Difference to be applied in Commodity Procurements in line with Public Procurement Law, has been approved by the Presidency and published in the Official Gazette on 27 June 2019 to take effect.

Accordingly, in electricity purchases, weighted average exchange price of month when tender conducted, unit renewable energy sources supporting mechanism cost will be calculated on the basis of administration connection voltage level, subscribers group, tariff class, single-multi time situation distribution cost  and tax and funds VAT excluded, and announced by EMRA.

The parts in the contracts exceeding the unit energy cost announced by EMRA will not be paid, earlier announced tenders will not be subject to these rules. Additional price difference procedures for these tenders will be conducted on the basis of provisions valid at application date.
