STEAM 20th International Energy Arena

Arena, to be participated by major representatives of public and private sector, will be held on 16 September 2019 at İstanbul Conrad Bosphorus.

Strategical and Technical Economic Research Center (STEAM), 20th International Energy Arena will be held on 16 September 2019 at İstanbul Conrad Bosphorus.

In the Arena to start with special presentation of International Energy Aegncy Executive  Director Fatih Birol, Vice Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and Energy Market regulatory Authority (EMRA) President Mustafa Yılmaz will deliver the opening speeches.

In the session titled "Equilibrium in Global Energy Sector-Future of Energy", Matthew BRYZA (R.  Ambassador), Hakkı AKİL ( R.  ambassador), Murat LECOMPTE (Head of Foreign Relations, SOCAR Türkiye) , Paul PICHE (Ülke Başkanı, EQUINOR Türkiye) and Joe MURPHY (Country Director, BP Türkiye) will speak .

In the session titled “Hydrocarbon Research Operations in Eastern Mediterranean", Çağatay ERCİYES ( ambassador, Bilateral Political Affairs and Maritime –Aviation-Border Director General, T.C. Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Zafer ATEŞ (Ambassador, Energy and Multi-sided Transportation Deputy Director General, T.C. Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Dr. Sohbet KARBUZ (Director, Hydrocarbones), Gina COHEN (Academician, Technion University - Israel) will speak.

In the session titled "Impacts of Global Economic Developments on Energy Investments", Sule KILIC (Deputy Head of Infrastructure, Energy and Natural Resources, EBRD), Dr. Rıza KADILAR (Country Director, NATIXIS), Reha PAMİR (Director, İŞ Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş.) will speak.

In the session titled "Developments in Natural Gas Sector", Director General Fazıl ŞENEL, representing IC IÇTAŞ İnşaat, will make a presentation on Tuz Gölü Natural Gas Underground Storage Project, other speakers will be Gökalp ÖZKÖK (CEO/Country Director, ENGIE Turkey), Mikhail KRUTIKHIN (Partner, RUSEnergy), Magsud MAMMADOV (Director of Foreign Relations, TANAP), Emre ERTÜRK (Director General, ENERJİ IQ Bilgi Servisleri).
