One of the prominent contractor companies of Turkey, Nurol İnşaat reportedly won a new contract in Romania. Romania's road infrastructure company CNAIR said that Turkey's Nurol İnşaat is the winner of a 746.7 million lei ($174 million/54 million euro) contract for the construction of a 17.5 km section of the Bucharest ring motorway. The works will be completed in 34 months, with a ten-year warranty period. The section is part of the A0 project for a 100.8 km motorway which will surround the Romanian capital, running parallel to an existing beltway road. In May 2018, Alsim Alarko from Turkey also was awarded a 750 million lei contract for the construction of a 16.3 km section of the Bucharest ring motorway.
