One of Turkey's leading contracting companies, Tekfen İnşaat, has announced that it won a contract for modernization of a refinery in Azerbaijan. According to the announcement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by Tekfen Holding, "Azfen JV, 40% subsidiary of Tekfen İnşaat ve Tesisat A.Ş., has undertaken under a $237-million contract the construction and installation works of the Haydar Aliyev Refinery as the subcontractor of Tecnicas Reunidas under the Modernization and Renovation Project Package B". As can be remembered, Tekfen İnşaat won a $150-million contract for road-building in Qatar in June TEBA:1972/ June 19, 2020.
