It is reported that E&Y (Ernst & Young) Türkiye was awarded “Best Public-Private Partnership Project Process of Year in Europe” reward in the Social Infrastructure-Health Category of IJ Global’s 2020 reward program, with its financial consultancy services in restructuring in the credit restructuring process of  Ankara Etlik City Hospital, one of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model Health Campus projects of Ministry of Health Health.

Orçun Makal, EY Turkey Strategy and Institutional Financing Section company partner said on the subject“ We have rendered financial restructuring service in the restructuring of 883 million Euro credit of Etlik City Hospital as Capital & Debt Consultancy / Financial Restructuring Team. We are proud of being seen worthy of a such an important reward in the international branch with Financial restructuring Service we rendered as EY Türkiye. We aimed at continuing to support in every way for developing and progress of economy of our beautiful country".

As it might be recalled, we earlier reported that restructuring process of project financing credits of 883 million Euro of Ankara Etlik Integrated Health Campus Project of 3.624 bed capacity and 1,3 billion Euro investment cost sponsored by Türkerler - Astaldi was completed and consultancy of the restructuring process was assumed by EY TEBA:2003/ January 19, 2021.

In the restructuring process, EY has acted as a bridge between the owners of project and more than 15 local and foreign banks namely the Ministry of Health, international financing agencies like the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), International Financing Agency (IFC), Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), Credit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, UniCredit and Turkish banks like  İş Bankası, Akbank and TSKB.
