Boru Hatları İle Petrol Taşıma Anonim Şirketi (BOTAŞ) and Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) have reached important decisions in terms of natural gas and electricity tariffs.

According to the announcement of BOTAŞ, 44.30% increase on natural gas prices used for electricity generation, 50% increase on natural gas used out of electricity generation purposes, 35% increase on natural gas used in household have been made. 

EMRA has released activity based electricity tarif tables and EÜAŞ’s active energy wholesale tariff in the official Gazette dated 1 April 2022. Accordingly, electricity tariffs of low voltage industrial zone subscribers increased by 20% to be valid as from 1 April. Electricity price per kWh for subscribers increased to 230,10 kuruş from 191,77. The tariffs of residence subscribers at the first level, increased to 112,43 kuruş from 112,41 kuruş per kWh, at high level from 167,83 kuruş to 167,85 kuruş. Tariffs of business subscribers at the first level, the electricity price per kWh raised to  167,45 kuruş from 167,43 kuruş, at high level per kWh price raised to 222,73 kuruş from 222,70 kuruş.

EÜAŞ’s active energy wholesale tariffs has been set to be 31,8592 kr/kWh as from 1 April 2022. No change made compared to 1 January tariff. In the sales made to distribution companies within the coverage of lighting, this will be applied as 200,0000 kuruş per kWh. The subject price was set to be 135,0000 kuruş to be valid as from 1 January.
