The field of renewable energy in line with the targets set by Turkey will continue to be one of the basic areas which we will provide support. On the other hand, our financing capabilities are of course not limited to renewable energy. We are also focusing on the production of clean energy, energy storage and electricity and natural gas storage systems.”

“We will support the investors at Konya-Karapınar”

Jelassi stating that national production of energy equipment which will be used in these investments are of utmost importance in reducing import costs and in creating new job opportunities, made the following statement:

“For this reason, I think that it is of importance that Turkey provides the production of equipment in a wide scale to be used in solar and wind power projects. I also have the opinion that this will also enhance the macro-economic indicators of Turkey and will bring forth sustainable advantages. In line with my rationale, we will support the investors regarding the solar power project that will be realized at Konya-Karapınar. Because, the development of the capacity of national production is also being targeted in relation with the equipment and technology to be employed in the project in question.”
