Tekfen İnşaat to Sign Contract for the USD 342.4 Million Stadium Construction in Qatar

Tekfen (50%)-Al Jaber Engineering (50%) Joint Venture are to sign a QAR 1 billion 250 million (USD 342 million 465 thousand 753) contract in a few days for the turn-key engineering and construction of a Stadium Project in Qatar

Tekfen İnşaat additionally signed a USD 99 million contract with BP Iraq for the assembly of water separation and salt separation units

One of the pioneering international contracting companies of Turkey, Tekfen, will undertake construction of a new stadium in Qatar.

Tekfen-Al Jaber Engineering joint venture where Tekfen İnşaat ve Tesisat A.Ş. is a 50 percent partner, was awarded the contract for the turn key construction of one of the stadium complex where 2022 World Cup Finals to be held in Qatar and was invited to sign.

In their statement on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by Tekfen Holding A.Ş. it is said that "Tekfen-Al Jaber Engineering joint venture where one of our subsidiaries, Tekfen İnşaat ve Tesisat A.Ş. is a 50 percent partner, was awarded the contract for the turn key engineering and construction of one of the stadium complex, 'Main Works for the Fifth Precinct Stadium' where 2022 World Cup Finals to be held in Qatar for a contract value of QAR 1 billion 250 million (USD 342 million 465 thousand 753) and was invited by the administration "Qatar Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy" to sign.”

Tekfen İnşaat signed a contract with BP Iraq for the assembly of water separation and salt separation units

In another statement on KAP by Tekfen Holding A.Ş. it was stated that a unit price contract for provision of personnel and machinery for the assembly of the Water Separation and Salt Separation Units at the Rumalia Oil Field between Tekfen İnşaat ve Tesisat A.Ş. and BP Iraq N.V. The statement where the project duration was detailed to be 3 years it was also stated that the total value of the project in the end was expected to reach USD 99 million.

It was reported earlier that Tekfen İnşaat recently signed a contract for USD 299 million 312 thousand with Saudi Aramco for the turn key construction of 333 km long pipeline TEBA:1790/ November 16, 2016.
