ENKA Signs a Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant Contract in Tataristan

It is reported that ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. (ENKA), one of Turkey's leading overseas contracting companies, has signed a Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant in Tataristan. According to the statement made by ENKA, JSC Tatenergo and Russian Federation signed a contract for turnkey delivery of a Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant with 858-MW capacity to be built in Zainsk, Republic of Tataristan. Once completed, the plant to be installed on a 1×1 configuration equipped with a GE 9HA.02 Gas Turbine Generator will have a 858-MW capacity with 64.7% efficiency. It is expected that the Project, which is planned to be completed by November 30, 2023, will be the most efficient power plant in Russian Federation. As can be remembered, ENKA Group successfully completed the 750-MW Samawa Combined Cycle Power Plant Project installed with GE in Southern Iraq, and the first ignition of the GTG unit 3 was completed in April TEBA:1966/ April 30, 2020.
